LIFE COACHING

Relationship/Career/Family/Money/Balance/Health & Body/Communication

What is the difference between Coaching & Therapy?

Coaching is about who you are today, and where you want to go in the future; whereas, therapy is often focused on psychological issues from the past.  There are times in our lives when therapy is a valuable tool to help us move forward, and if chronic issues of depression, anxiety, or addiction arise, I will bring that to your attention and offer a referral.  We will decide together how to proceed in the coaching relationship, but I will not serve as your Coach and Therapist at the same time.

That isn’t to say that Coaching won’t be emotional.  In Coaching we will process emotions, listen to their wisdom, and build a plan for attaining your goals.

How is a Coaching different from a Good Friend?

A friendship is a two way relationship.  As your Coach, I will be totally focused on you.  I will hold the space for your personal growth and professional success- always.  I will also hold you accountable and challenge you to seek new perspectives and reach new highs.  A good friend might just listen while you complain.  I will push you towards action and help you devise strategies for success.
